Arcadyan has continuously strengthened its research and development of green products, embodying the spirit of sustainable enterprise. On May 7th, it was awarded two prestigious accolades, the SEAL Awards for Environmental Initiative and Sustainable Innovation. The SEAL Awards recognize enterprises worldwide that make tangible contributions to sustainability and foster innovative initiatives aimed at positively impacting the environment for generations to come.
Each year, only the top 50 most sustainable companies and leaders are honored globally. Following the receipt of the Sustainable Product Award in 2023, Arcadyan's performance in sustainable innovation and environmental initiatives has once again received international recognition in 2024.
Since 2020, Arcadyan has embraced BS 8001 Circular Economy Framework, incorporating green product mindset into production, from design and manufacturing to disposal and recycling. Arcadyan consistently adhered to the principles of ecological design throughout the product lifecycle and put the 10R concept of circular economy into practice. Arcadyan utilizes environmentally friendly materials sourced from conflict-free minerals, upholds its commitment to non-toxic products, and incorporates post-consumer recycled materials (PCR). Furthermore, Arcadyan is dedicated to reducing component usage and designs products for easy disassembly to optimize product lifecycle. It has also introduced smart energy regulation modes to accelerate the low-carbon transformation of its products.
At the end of 2023, Arcadyan submitted its carbon reduction targets to Science-Based Targets initiative proposal for review, setting specific goals for short- and medium-term carbon reduction, as well as long-term net-zero targets. The company's headquarters and primary manufacturing center have fully implemented the ISO 50001 energy management system to optimize energy efficiency. Solar power generation systems have been installed in production centers to actively promote energy transformation, increasing the proportion of renewable energy usage to 12-15% of total electricity consumption at those facilities. The headquarters is also expected to complete the construction of its solar power generation system by 2026.
Arcadyan actively engages with suppliers to promote a sustainable supply chain. Since 2023, it has lauched the "Go Green with Arcadyan" program, systematically assisting supply chain partners in conducting organizational greenhouse gas inventories and product carbon footprint reduction plans.
