Arcadyan signed the commitment of the SBTi science-based reduction target initiative in 2022, taking science-based methodology to set net-zero carbon reduction targets and plans a carbon reduction action blueprint to track and manage Arcadyan's carbon assets in a systematic way. In addition, Arcadyan also actively responds to the RE100 initiative, purchasing renewable energy certificates every year, and is committed to using 100% renewable energy in 2040 to achieve environmental sustainability.
Arcadyan submitted its carbon reduction target at the end of 2023 and approved by SBTi in July 2024. The SBTi official website announced that Arcadyan set 2022 as the base year, and the greenhouse gas (Scope 1+2) within the organization will reach the net-zero emission target in 2040, the short-term goal is set as an absolute reduction of 50% in 2030. Other indirect emissions of greenhouse gases (Scope 3) also plan to reach net-zero emission targets in 2050, with a short-term target set intensity reduction of 66% in 2030.
Arcadyan tracks and reviews carbon reduction performance progress every quarter, and flexibly adjust carbon reduction action plans based on market and technological development trends to ensure that it meets customer expectations and achieves organizational and product decarbonization goals. Arcadyan is committed to information transparency and discloses Arcadyan Group's carbon emissions and target progress in its sustainability report every year to implement Arcadyan's best practices in carbon reduction actions and corporate value.
