Arcadyan Tops Financial Times’ 2025 Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders, Advancing Global Sustainability Through Decarbonization

Arcadyan has been listed as the top company on the 2025 Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders list, jointly compiled by the Financial Times and global data firm Statista, recognizing its outstanding performance in climate action and carbon management. This honor not only recognizes Arcadyan’s efforts in sustainable carbon reduction but also highlights the key influence of Taiwanese enterprises in the global low-carbon transition.

The award evaluation focused on the core carbon emissions intensity (Scope 1 and 2 emissions relative to revenue) from 2018 to 2023, along with performance indicators such as climate disclosures to CDP, energy transparency, and sustainability reporting. Among more than 2,000 candidate companies, Arcadyan stood out for its exceptional emissions reduction results, ranking first among all Taiwanese companies.

Accelerating Decarbonization Through Supply Chain and Transport Optimization

Arcadyan has long been dedicated to addressing climate change and has implemented the following key initiatives to significantly reduce its operational carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency:

  • Green energy adoption: Installed solar energy systems and smart energy management solutions at major sites to accelerate renewable energy deployment.
  • Low-carbon transport transformation: Optimized logistics strategies by partnering with transport providers capable of carbon tracking, improving logistics efficiency and reducing emissions.
  • Supply chain decarbonization collaboration: Partnered with suppliers to implement carbon reduction programs, including emissions inventory and sustainability training, to build a greener supply network.

These actions have led to a substantial reduction in Arcadyan’s core carbon emissions intensity (Scope 1+2), earning it a leading position in this year’s climate leadership evaluation.

A Long-Term Commitment to a Sustainable Future

In response to growing climate challenges and international sustainability trends, Arcadyan has set multiple mid- and long-term goals, including:

  • Science-based targets (SBTi): Committed to reducing annual carbon emissions by 6.25% on average through 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions across operations by 2040.
  • Comprehensive supply chain carbon management: Expanded carbon inventory mechanisms to Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, strengthening transparency in emissions disclosure.
  • Low-carbon product transition: Introduced product carbon footprint assessments and optimized packaging design to promote low-carbon and circular product strategies.
  • International ESG recognition: Actively engaged in ESG evaluations and global initiatives, earning the EcoVadis Platinum rating (top 1% globally) for its outstanding performance in environmental, social, and governance aspects.

Arcadyan’s recognition as the top Asia-Pacific Climate Leader by the Financial Times is a testament to its impactful decarbonization efforts. Looking ahead, Arcadyan will continue to deepen its climate strategies and accelerate green innovation, leveraging technology to expand its sustainability impact and play a vital role in the global net-zero transition.
