Arcadyan introduced ISO 50001 standard in 2022 to improve energy efficiency, and support renewable energy. AVC Vietnam Manufacturing Center finished rooftop photovoltaic system installation in June 2022. The system contains about 15 thousand square meters of solar panels, and has generated around 175 kWh since it started operating in mid 2022, accounting for 8.9% of the electricity consumption of AVC Vietnam Production Center in 2022, and expected to reduce the electricity consumption of AVC Vietnam production center by about 15% every year. Currently AVC is planning for second-phase photovoltaic system installment, in hope to increase the newable energy used in the production.
Aside from building solar power infrastructures, Arcadyan is evaluating renewable energy certificate procurement to gradually increase green energy consumption. Arcadyan Taiwan Headquarters is proactively seeking suitable renewable energy partners to further low-carbon manufacturing.
