Arcadyan hosted a supplier conference on October 13, inviting 14 key supply chain partners to discuss the global net-zero trend and launch the "Go Green with Arcadyan" project. This project aims to systematically guide suppliers in organizational and product carbon reduction, working together to achieve carbon reduction goals.
Raymond Hsiung, Vice President of Arcadyan, noted that with the European Union's passage of the "EU Green Deal" in 2020, the push for carbon reduction in the market has grown stronger. Many clients are now evaluating sustainability performance as a criterion in their requests for proposals or quotations. In response to these international trends, Arcadyan joined the SBTi in 2022, setting ambitious carbon reduction strategies. Arcadyan also hopes to collaborate with the value chain to realize its carbon reduction goals.
Frank Chiang, Director of Supply Chain Management at Arcadyan, emphasized that carbon reduction is a global trend, and achieving corporate sustainability requires cooperation across the value chain to yield positive results. The "Go Green with Arcadyan" project aims to create a win-win-win situation, allowing Arcadyan, its supplier partners, and end customers to each fulfill their environmental commitments and contribute to achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
